needs and achieve your goals.
What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) was introduced in Australia to ensure all people with disability have access to supports and services they need, ensuring that Australians with disability have the necessary supports they need to live an independent and full life. If you are eligible under the NDIS, the NDIS will provide appropriate funding for reasonable and necessary supports that are required for you to live your life, meet your needs
and reach your goals.
Helping Hands provides quality services to all people with disability and work closely with individuals and families
to help you achieve your goals and empower you to live a great meaningful life, the life you chose.
NDIS Funding
Helping Hands charges for supports and services in accordance with the now called ‘NDIS Pricing Arrangements
and Price Limits’. Read more about it here.
‘Understanding the Price Guide’ is an NDIS resource, created to help you understand recent pricing changes and how these changes may affect you. Read more about it here.
It’s important to understand all the pricing you may be charged, so you can confidently understand your plan
and your budget.
TTP Pricing
Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP)
NDIA have introduced the TTP in the price guide. This replaced the Temporary Support for Overheads. Through
the TTP, from the 1st July 2019, providers of attendant care and community centre-based activities can charge a higher support price limit.
Helping Hands charges for services in accordance with the NDIS Price Guide and Helping Hands is eligible to
charge a higher price for attendant care and community and centre-based activities, through the TTP.
Read more about it here.
Helping Hands will always charge within the current pricing arrangements and limits set by the NDIS.
