Specialist case management help

Disability Support Services in Sydney

We aim to bring positive changes into the lives of people with disability and mental illness through a range of services and support programs.

Supported Accommodation Programs

Helping Hands provides direct support for people with a disability that require support in finding and maintaining accommodation. We will help you to develop the skills to avoid homelessness, manage health risks, develop social connections and assist you in sustaining a tenancy independently in the future.

In-Home Care

Our in-home care offering includes personal care, drop-in support and attendant care. The in-home care required by each person is very different and our services can be tailored to meet your unique needs. Care services can include assistance with personal care activities, administrative tasks, domestic help and facilitation of community access.

Respite Support

The Helping Hands respite care services aim to support carers of those with disabilities. We can support you both to enable your carer to have time for external activities such as socialising, running errands or taking breaks from caring. If your carer is looking to return to work, then we can help with this transition.

Transitioning for Young People with Disability

We provide tailored support for young people working towards starting school or beginning employment. This can be a challenging time and a scary prospect, but Helping Hands are here to help you on the path to education, employment and independence.

Teamwork builds a better life

Skills Training for Independent Living

Our support workers can provide you with a wide range of skills training to develop independent living skills in and around the home. We will help you make the most of your abilities and learn new skills with the intention of increasing your self-confidence and self-reliance. We can recommend adaptive equipment as well as provide you with the resources necessary to work towards the ultimate goal of living independently and safely.
